"Lujian Yefu," also known as Yejian Fuzhuan Dark Tea, is produced in areas such as Yiyang and Anhua in Hunan Province. It is also called "Fu Tea" because it is produced during the dog days of summer. Its aroma and efficacy are similar to those of "Smilax Glabra," hence the name.
Fuzhuan tea boasts a unique taste and health benefits. As a new type of natural beverage for lowering lipids, blood sugar, and blood pressure, it plays an excellent role in preventing modern urban lifestyle diseases. Additionally, like other post-fermented dark teas, Lujian Yefu improves in flavor with age. When brewed, it offers a rich, mellow, and sweet aftertaste, with a strong fungal aroma, a refreshing smoothness, and a distinctive floral scent reminiscent of mushrooms.
