Oolong tea, also known as Qing tea, is a type of semi-fermented tea. Its degree of fermentation falls between green tea and black tea, possessing both the fresh aroma of green tea and the mellow taste of black tea. Characterized by their green leaves with red edges, oolong tea boasts a rich aroma and a sweet and mellow flavor, with distinct characteristics. There are various types of oolong tea, such as Wuyi Rock Tea, Narcissus Tea, and Cassia Tea from northern Fujian; Tieguanyin Tea and Huangjin Gui Tea from southern Fujian; Phoenix Dancong Tea and Phoenix Narcissus Tea from Guangdong; as well as Dongding Oolong Tea and Oriental Beauty Tea from Taiwan. These oolong teas each have their unique qualities, with some featuring a strong aroma, some a mellow taste, some a golden liquor color, and some red-edged leaf bottoms. They are deeply loved by tea enthusiasts.
